Queued mail for delivery on SMTP Activity Log

Every time I send an email from a classic ASP application I'm receiving the below entry on the SMTP Activity Log. Please confirm if the email is sent when receiving the "Queued mail for delivery" response? I am receiving the SMTP Server Response Code 250 although can not be certain if the email is always sent.

250 2.6.0 <80A62C72106144F1B58800E4BD1D985D@DOMAIN.local> [InternalId=66365834660415, Hostname=CO1NAM04HT067.eop-NAM04.prod.protection.outlook.com] 6306 bytes in 0.436, 14.102 KB/sec Queued mail for delivery 1218 209

Any help is appreciated

Hi,

The log snippet indicates that the Outlook mail server has queued the message for delivery. This is not in our control. The Outlook server is responsible for delivery as MailEnable has already dispatched the message at this point.

Not that a 250 response code means a lot when talking about hotmail/outlook.com.

Search for "outlook silently discards".
