Cannot search in webmail

Cannot search in webmail

I have a customer who has shown me that when he looks for a search term in his outlook it shows up (many occurances) but in webmail nothing. Email that's less than 30 days old even. How can I correct this problem for him?

First ensure that the MailEnable indexing service is running under the MailEnable services list. If it is running then access the mailbox properties in the administration console and navigate to the "Messages". Click the option for "request index search". This will run the search indexer on the mailbox and create the relevant index for searching. Although this should be of been done automatically but give it a try.
