IDN support not working/incomplete

I found a few very old topics regarding IDN. However, a few year ago MailEnable 9 was released which is supposed to support IDN, as

However, I cannot log-in using an "Umlaut" domain/email, like
noa@tänis.nl
I expect that MailEnable decodes the domain name for me. Instead I have to enter the Puny encoded address.

Also the UI does not encode non ASCII characters in email addresses correctly:

Other UI elements like the action buttons, tooltips, and column headers show Umlauts correctly:

I am using MailEnable 10.23 with German language.

Does MailEnable actual support IDN? Maybe it is disabled by default?

Is anybody of the MailEnable team monitoring this error forum? Is anybody going to respond?
