Take the current MailEnable Data File and rename it to "mailenable.old" and in the awstats.mailenable.conf file, rem out the top line that is the log file format.

Then cut and paste this into a new batch file and run it. It will pull in all the log files from JAN 1, 2004 to MAY 31, 2004. You can modify the paths with the "replace" command in notepad and you can quickly make the file to do additional date with some minor tweaking.

I ran this just a few minutes ago on a server that does 65,000 - 70,000 messages per day and it took about 10 minutes.

Setup ('./awstats.mailenable.conf' file, web server or permissions) may be wrong.
See AWStats documentation in 'docs' directory for informations on how to setup awstats.

Found the problem... I used the batch file for all logs this year..

I had to change the path to the ME directory to an 8.3 standard...

C:\PROGRA~1\MAILEN~1

I cant seem to get the date in the required yyyy format, I can only get yy. Any ideas where to change this?

It appears to drop records after the end of a month. I had over 27000 e-mails on the 31st of last month (total for May) and I just looked and it shows 15526. I do updates every hours via a script.

Has anyone else seen this?

The dropped totals have just occurred again for June. Not sure if it is my config or not. Everything was fine until the last refresh (that i looked at).

It dropped the last day of the month this time. Will have to see if changes in a few days.

Can someone else confirm or deny this problem?

It has been a while since my last post, but I've posted a new version of my MELogConvert application for AWStats. In this version I fixed the size handling of the emails. The application now uses cs-bytes instead of the sc-bytes property of the log file.
