How can I filter invalid sender (from) email addresses?

Post by atinoco »

Hello all

Today i received a spam message with a sender (from) address like this "notbook excelente.regalo" , I've also received messages from other invalid sender (from) addresses, like "Carlos Real" but without a valid email included, just pain text.

is there a way to have mailenable delete or reject emails like these?

I have the option to "Reject mail if sender is from an invalid domain" enabled but that option looks like it's not working for me since the email with a from address "notbook excelente.regalo" arrived to my email box.

Any suggestions?

Hi the address in the message can easily be forged. The feature you have enabled works on the envelope or the command file, this address is written into the logs.

If the same address was being used to send many emails you could block it using the filter that looks in the email headers searching for "notbook excelente.regalo"
