Yes it is. Although you should read the release notes of MailEnable.
There are some notes relating to potential problems when some control panels set permissions on MailEnable folders. We have had the vast majority of customers upgrade with to V3 without incident - the only potential problem is the one of permission ordering thats mentioned in the release notes.

Any Experiences with Plesk 7.5.6? I have ME 2.0 Pro on our server and would love to upgrade to ME 3 Prof if possible

Release notes for what, MailEnable ?

There are some very basic ones here http://www.mailenable.com/download.asp

The main list of changes that was for v3 was listed with the betas, but seems to have been removed now.

Found that under plesk the mailserver is still MailEnable Pro 2.37 and not 3! Shouldn't this be changed during installation?? How can i change this after installation?

Does the MailEnable diagnostic report state the correct version?

The version numbers are read from the registry under this key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mail Enable\Mail Enable::Professional Version

Perhaps somehow a system or registry restore was done and the key was overwritten.

Yes it does!! Even the Regkey shows 3.00!!
When i open webmail.domain.de then i can enter the "old" horde webmail.
I don't know if the new webmail is entered by mewebmail.domain.de
I thought the old webmail would be deinstalled and only the new one would be available under webmail.xxx
I have to set the subdomain mewebmail free by my provider so i can't test this now.
But to be honest i don't wan't a second webmail i only want the new one by calling webmail.xyxx

Thanks very much for your help!!

Problem is solved!
Webmail had to be changed in Plesk to WebMail 2.
After that the PRo 3.00 is shown and the new webmail design.
Thanks again for all help!!

I installed ME Professional V3 on my Plesk 8.2 server but when I go to the "Components Management" for mail server still shows MailEnable Standard 1.981 and for Webmail I only see Horde IMP H3 (4.1.3)

Any suggestion on how to make Plesk recognize the new ME Pro v3

i've got the exact same problem mentioned above - using Plesk 8.2 on windows and upgrading from mailenable standard 1.8x to 3.0 Pro it hasn't registered in Plesk components.

I'm still stuck with Horde webmail and mailenable standard.

I'm having the exact same problem. Plesk 8.2 on Windows, and I just upgraded to ME Pro from Standard.

The ME Web Client option is grayed out in Plesk. Plesk is also showing that it's running Standard instead of Pro.

Hi there

Found a fix to this problem - you need to refresh the components page and it will then show up the new MailEnable Pro Webmail etc.

Merry Xmas!

Hahahaha! That was so easy. You rock!

Fixed my problem right up. Can't beleive my hosting provider was going to charge me $150/hour to figure this out.
