ClamAV

Post by aWebsheep »

I installed MxScan (pro version) on mine server and i must say that it works very very well!

I have one question about ClamAV, does it only scan e-mail? Or does it scan more than that?

Thanks for any answers,

Peter.

Hi

ClamAV works like any AV programs. It can also scan normal programs i.e exe, zip, doc, etc. What is lacking from ClamAV is a "On File Access' scanner.
MXSCAN :: AntiSpam & AntiVirus for MailEnable (now with Spamtrap/Honeypot!)
Built-in SpamAssassin, Clam, MessageSniffer, DNSBL, URLBL, DCC, Senderbase, SpamTrap, ShortCircuit, Content Filters, Disclamers, Archiving and more.
