Drop Folders

Post by martin-s »

Hi,

We are an estate agency software company, one of the functions of which is to match people to properties and send out emails.

We run Mailenable v3.14 which we bought back in May 2008 and currently authenticate to send each of these emails individually (the emails are all different due to unsubscribe links, etc.).

However, this can end up being a little slow, particularly in larger customer offices where a couple of hundred people match any given property and the estate agent is also choosing to attach a PDF brochure.

My question is, is it possible to push emails into a drop folder, to be picked up and handled out of process?

Thanks,

Martin

You could use the following method:

Or you could configure the MS SMTP service and bind it to another IP then relay the messages that are dropped into its drop box out via the MailEnable SMTP service.
