Smtp sending problems Continued.

Post by jnoseworthy »

Hi Folks:

I am not able to send email to an external email address through my server. I've opened ports 25 and 587 and even placed the server in the DMZ. Still, no success. I am trying to attach the activity log as well as the file that was in the out-going queue but, as a blind user, I am having a bit of trouble navigating the file attachment system.

Hope someone can help.

Thanks all over the place.

I have followed all instructions above and still cannot send mail!
I've also sent mail from some other services and they do not get through!
Please help!

further to my previous post:

I am able to telnet to my email server via ports 25 and 587 with no problem.

I am able to send email to my own email address from an external computer; but I am not able to send email to any other external address.

I would sure like to clear up this matter.

thanks.

This is a great. I've been doing some research to try and figure it out. MailEnable really needs to fix this.

Code: Select all
