ME 8 & EAS & Outlook 2013

After the upgrade to ME v8 the inbox of an account which connects through EAS stays empty. All other folders contains the relevant messages.
In the web mail there are several messages in this Inbox. But on Outlook 2013 with EAS the Inbox is empty.

Clicking on the inbox gives the message: 'Waiting for server response' and then 'All folders are up to date'.

any ideas?

Ensure you have the latest 8.01 kit. Try and delete the _index.xml file and state.xml files from the following location and then resync the client:

Mail Enable\Config\ActiveSync\(postofficename)\(mailboxname)\(DeviceID)\inbox
