Hi,
Just upgraded to 8.55, now I am getting 503 errors "service unavailable" and the application pool seems to stop.
I had a look at http://www.mailenable.com/kb/content/vi ... D=ME020446 but I dont have an IIS_WPG group..
Running on 2008R2 + IIS 7.5
Anyone have any ideas?

Additional:
Did a Meinstaller.exe and option 2 to reinstall now get
401 - Unauthorized: Access is denied due to invalid credentials

I have the same issue, been pulling my hair out.
The event log is suggesting the Identity Pool is invalid.

I tried one last thing..
I reset the password for IME_ADMIN
Updated the user for MailEnableAppPool with the new password.
I then got a logon screen. Something went belly up in the upgrade and it either didn't set the pw correctly or couldn't.

I just recently upgraded 7.02 Standard to 8.55 Standard. My original had 25 mailboxes. After conversion I had only three. Somehow I am now up to 8. How do I get the rest? Any Ideas?

I tried paarlberg's method above and resetting the IME_ADMIN password worked like a champ!

Hello,
I already solved with option 2 from MEInstaller..but this issue occurs ALWAYS with every upgrade. We use two version enterprise and standard. We have not any problem with enterprise version however with the standard we always have to solved it. Why? Is there a way to avoid this issue in the future?
