If MailEnable was downloaded between
the 12th to 14th March 2002,
the following message may appear in the SMTP Debug log:
Communications Error: Could not populate sockets address pack
This error is produced by a defect in the 1.414R release at that time.
If this error occurs and the MailEnable diagnostic report shows the version to be 1.414R, download the latest copy of version 1.x and install.
It is recommended to upgrade to the latest version of MailEnable Professional v 1.x, 2.x, 3.x or 4.x as a bug was present in an earlier version that could cause problems with mail delivery.
