SYMPTOMS
Web administration property page does not appear under the post office properties.
CAUSE
Unregistered .DLL
RESOLUTION
This is
usually either because the administration program is being accessed using
the MailEnable Administrator shortcut, instead of the MailEnable
Professional/Enterprise Edition shortcut. If the web administration
property page is still not visible, it is possible to
extend the currently open administration application by following the
steps below.
1. Open the MailEnable Administration
application
2. From the Console menu, select Add/Remove Snap-in
3. A window will appear. Select the Extensions tab at the top.
4.
From the top drop down list, labelled Snap-ins that can be extended, select
MailEnable Management.
5. Select the Add all extensions
checkbox
6. Select OK
7. From the Console menu, select
Save
8. Right click
on a post office, select Properties from the pop-up menu, and see the WebAdmin tab.
If the
tab still does not appear, please try this:
1. Open the MailEnable Administration
application
2. From the Console menu, select Add/Remove Snap-in
3. Click Extensions
4. Select MailEnable Management
If "MailEnable web mail
administration" does not appear in the list - re-register
MEAdminWebAdmin.dll using Regsvr32 - otherwise, re-install
MailEnable.
Note: Web Admin is only available in 1.1x or
later.
