SUMMARY
This article explains how to remotely create postoffices when using MailEnable.
DETAIL
Enterprise Edition gives the ability to run the administration application on a workstation and remotely access functionality across multiple servers. If you need to create postoffices through another application you can do this by writing a script that allows you to create postoffices. This is done using the API which is available at http://www.mailenable.com/developers.
A sample ASP file is available at http://www.mailenable.com/utilities/addons/pocreate_asp.zip
to create a postoffices. You can use this on your web site and call it
as follows:
http://{yoursite}/pocreate?PO=MyPostoffice&PWD=mypassword
You should make sure that the file can only be accessed by authorised users by setting Windows permissions on the file.
