How to configure the sender address for the auto responder message.

DETAIL

The auto responder will always use the mailbox "Reply-to" address as the sender address. If this is not set then it will use the first available email address associated with the mailbox . If no email address is mapped to the mailbox then the SMTP system notification address will be used. 

It is possible to change the sender address of auto response messages by setting the "reply to" address for the mailbox using the mailbox "addresses"  properties window. 

Follow the steps below:

1. Open the administration console.
2. Navigate to the respective postoffice where the mailbox resides under.
3. Right click on the mailbox and select "properties" in the menu.
4. In the mailbox properties window navigate to the "Addresses" tab.
5. Use the dropdown menu within the "Reply To Address" section to select an existing address, or enter an alternate manually.
6. Hit  "Apply" then "Ok".
