SYMPTOMS

High CPU usage, MESMTPC.exe process using CPU.

CAUSE

If the polling interval for the SMTP connector is set to 0 in the Advanced SMTP properties then it will cause MESMTPC.exe to use a high CPU count. This setting should never be set less than 1 or it will cause the SMTP connector to keep polling at 0 sec intervals.  

RESOLUTION

This issue has been fixed in the Professional v.1.20, which will alert the user if a setting of 0 is used.
