Duplicate postoffices created in the MailEnable Administration Program


SYMPTOMS

Duplicate post offices in the MailEnable Administration program.

DETAIL

If control panel software is being used for managing post offices, these control panels may create duplicate entries when adding post office details to the "postoffice.tab" file.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, manually delete the duplicate entries in the "Postoffice.tab" file:

  1. Navigate to this location C:\Program Files\Mail Enable\Config and select the "Postoffice.tab" file.
  2. In the next window, select Notepad from the program list to open the file.
  3. Locate the duplicate entries and delete them.
  4. Save the file and exit Notepad.
