CAUSE
This error may occur if running MailEnable in an environment where there is a Domain Policy configured to control account policies. T he domain controller may override the access rights granted to MailEnable service accounts. If this occurs, then the web mail will fail with this error and the login screen will not be presented to the user.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, ensure that the IME_USER and IME_ADMIN have been added to the Domain Controller Policy login in the logon batch job section, as this will override the local policy.
If this is not configured then there may be problems when trying to access web mail/web admin, because the Domain Controller will apply the Domain Policy to the server that is running MailEnable.
