SYMPTOMS

In web mail, the folders tree is not displaying and an ASP error similar to the following occurs:

Server object error 'ASP 0193 : 8002801d'
OnStartPage Failed
/mewebmail/base/enterprise/lang/EN/folders.asp, line 62
An error occurred in the OnStartPage method of an external object.

CAUSE

This error indicates that the ASP.DLL is not correctly registered in the server's registry.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this, open a command prompt and enter: regsvr32 %windir%\system32\inetsrv\asp.dll
