SYMPTOMS

When running web mail or web administration as a virtual directory, under a site that has Plesk PHP ISAPI filters installed, the following event log errors may be displayed when trying to access web mail/web administration interfaces. A 404 error within the browser will also be displayed.

CAUSE

IME_ADMIN does not have permissions to read the various PHP ISAPI filters installed on the root web site.

RESOLUTION

Navigate to the following folder location:

C:\Program Files\SWsoft\Plesk\Additional\Php\sapi\

Access the folders security options and give IME_ADMIN "read & execute" permissions and ensure to propagate the settings to the child objects.
