SUMMARY
In the details section of
this article it is explained how to use SpamAssassin to mark a message as
possible spam then use the MailEnable internal deliver to Junk E-mail
functionality to move the message to a mailbox "Junk E-mail" folder.
This article only applies when you are using an external SpamAssassin filter
that adds the X-Spam-Flag header. This article does not apply when using the
built in SpamAssassin filtering.
DETAIL
Use the configuration of
SpamAssassin to mark a message as spam when it meets a criteria within
the program. When this is configured within SpamAssassin the header line
of:
"X-Spam-Flag:
YES"
is added to a message it deemed to be spam. After SpamAssassin has added this line it is possible to use MailEnable to create a filter that executes an action when this line is found in the header.
Here is the filter that
would be required:
Criteria:
Where a message header
contains specific words = X-Spam-Flag: YES
Action:
Mark as
spam
