The MailEnable administration console (Microsoft Management Console (MMC)) crashes when opening or selecting the filters. Or, it can be opened but selecting a newly created filter causes the administration program to crash. If the filters section is not opened or clicked on then the MMC does not crash.
This can mean that a MailEnable block file has been created and not removed.
The issue can be a result of a block file from a previous crashing of the MMC.
To remove the block file turn off the MTA and Post Office services and then execute [Start]->Run->Meinstaller.exe when the window opens execute the option to remove all BLK files. Restart services again.
If this does not work it is possible the file is still being locked stopping the MEInstaller from removing the BLK file, so you should open Program File\MailEnable\Config\Filters and physically remove any *.BLK files.
