When upgrading or installing MailEnable the installer using an administrator account the installer stops half way through and shows error, "You do not have access to make the required system configuration modifications. Please rerun this installation from an administrators account. (MailEnable [ServiceName] Service) The specified service already exists." When I hit "OK" it quits the installation.
The service or path to the service is locked and not able to be updated by the installer.
1. Reboot the server as this may clear the registry of any temporary path service locations.
2. Stop and disable any antiv virus or firewall programs on the server and then try again.
