SYMPTOMS

The following event log errors are produced in regards to MailEnable services crashing when using MySQL as the configuration repository.

Example:

Faulting application MEPOPS.exe, version 1.0.0.58, faulting module odbc32.dll, version 3.526.3959.0, fault address 0x0000131a.

CAUSE

Using an old revision of the MySQL ODBC driver.

RESOLUTION

Download and upgrade to the latest MySQL ODBC Connector at the following link: http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/odbc/
