SYMPTOMS
When sharing a MyFiles link in the MAPI connector it differs to the published MyFiles link in web mail.
CAUSE
The client is not able to determine the webmail configuration in order to give a valid MyFiles link if the webmail is using SSL and/or an alternate port.
RESOLUTION
Ensure you have 6.77 or later of MailEnable Enterprise and using the 1.52 of the MailEnable MAPI connector for Microsoft Outlook.
The following registry key import needs to be applied on the MailEnable server.
1. Open Windows Notepad on the MailEnable server and paste the following:
Windows Registry Editor Version
5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Mail Enable\Mail
Enable\Services\IMAP]
"Advertise MyFiles As SSL"=dword:00000001
"Advertise
MyFiles Port"=dword:00000555
2. Save as: Advertise MyFiles As SSL.reg
3. Double click the .reg file to import the registry settings required.
