SYMPTOMS

Navigating to the web mail or web adminstration interface returns an "UnSupported" error in the browser.

CAUSE

The bindings for the URL or IP that web mail or web administration is being accessed on is bound to the "MailEnable Protocols" website. This website is for synchronisation services, and does not support web mail or web adminstration. You are unable to create any virtual directory to access other services for this site.

RESOLUTION

Remove the binding from under the "MailEnable Protocols" website within IIS and add the IP or host header binding to either the "MailEnable WebMail" or "MailEnable WebAdmin" website. Any virtual directories added to the protocols IIS site should be removed.
