Forcing relayed messages into Campaign queue for delivery


SUMMARY

List messages created by MailEnable will use the Campaign outbound queue. Message that are relayed through the server from externally do not use this queue. This article describes how to allow this to happen.

DETAIL

You will need to add the following registry value and restart the SMTP service.

For 32bit Windows

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mail Enable\Mail Enable\Connectors\SMTP]
"Bulk uses Campaign"=dword:00000001

For 64bit Windows:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Mail Enable\Mail Enable\Connectors\SMTP]
"Bulk uses Campaign"=dword:00000001

When this registry key is enabled, it will route messages it detects as list messages to the Campaign folder. For it to detect a message as a list message it must have the following header item:
